Mike Duffy’s mother has died.
Lillian Duffy, mother of P.E.I. senator and former broadcaster Mike Duffy, died yesterday in Charlottetown at the age of 92.
TV viewers who watched Duffy’s interviews on CTV were familiar with his signature wrap-up “and a wink for Mum.”
Over the years, Lillian Duffy became a bit of a pundit in her own right.
In the 1980’s, she was interviewed by several journalists, including the CBC’s Barbara Frum, about her opinion on a plan to build a bridge to New Brunswick.
