Worker says Glooscap chief called his boss

The fallout continues, following revelations about the top salaries at the Glooscap first nation.
Brian Smith works for a non-profit agency. He says the chief called his boss to complain, after Smith called for a review of how much the chief and councillors get paid.
Glooscap Chief Shirley Clarke phoned an official at the National Centre for First Nations Governance.
Smith says the call happened after he started working on a petition and says he doesn’t think it’s appropriate.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation recently released figures showing that the small band provided compensation of $243,000, tax free to its chief in 2008.
