Contract talks for ER doctors getting tough: report

The province and its emergency doctors in Halifax are reportedly are at odds over a new contract.
About 30 ER physicians at the QEII and another 20 at the IWK make $159 an hour, which is believed to be the lowest rate in the Maritimes.
The Herald is reporting the doctors want higher pay and increased staffing, and are frustrated with the state of negotiations.
An expired three-year contract was extended until March while negotiations continue.
