The following is a list of weather-related closures and cancellations for Jan. 27. This information is updated as it is received.
– All Annapolis Valley School Board schools are closed today, along with the regional office and work sites.
– All Halifax Regional School Board schools are closed today.
– All francophone schools in Halifax and Dartmouth are closed today.
– All South Shore School Board schools are closed today.
– All Chignecto Central School Board schools are closed today.
– A “regional shutdown” is in effect for the Tri-County Regional School Board.
– Our Lady of Schools in Halifax is closed for the day.
– Sandy Lake Academy in Bedford is closed for the day and exams are postponed till Monday .
– Bedford Academy is closed today.
– Halifax Christian Academy is closed and the outdoor education program cancelled.
– The Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts is closed for the morning and will reassess at noon.
– Tiny Treasures Nursery School is closed today.
– Maple Tree Montesorri Preschool is closed today.
– The Maritime Muslim Academy school and daycare are closed for the day.
– NSCC’s Cumberland Campus in Springhill and the satellite office in Amherst are closed for the day.
– NSCC’s Pictou Campus in Stellarton is closed for the day.
– NSCC’s Annapolis Valley Campus in Lawrencetown and the Community Learning Centre in Digby are closed for the day.
– NSCC’s Kingstec Campus in Kentville is closed for the day.
– NSCC’s Truro Campus is closed for the day.
– NSCC’s Burridge and Shelboune Campuses won’t open until 10am.
– Birch Hill Academy in Hammonds Plains is closed for the day.
– Daytime classes at the Halifax Learning Center are cancelled today.
– HRM recreation programs are cancelled for this morning. A decision on afternoon programs will be made by 11:30
– Acadia University is closed for the day.
