Man assaulted and robbed in Dartmouth

2 people face robbery charges after they allegedly jumped a man from behind, beat him up and robbed him.
Halifax Regional Police say it happened in the 100 Block of Shubie Drive in Dartmouth at around 9 o’clock Saturday night.
They say the victim was punched in his head and face by his attackers before the suspects fled the area taking the victims glasses.
Police apprehended the suspects a short distance away.
A 19-year-old Indian Brook man will appear in Halifax Provincial court on Monday for Robbery charges and a 17-year-old Millbrook man will appear in Halifax Youth court at a later date.
The victim was not injured during the altercation and did not require medical assistance.
