Can you design a better bike rack?

The city government is looking for someone who can build a better bike rack.

The Sustainable Environment Management Office is holding a design competition for a bike rack to be built on the north-east side of the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal.

A panel will choose the winning design based on creativity, artistic value, functionality and use of sustainable material.

The winning design will be unveiled during earth day celebrations. Details are on the HRM web site at http://www.halifax.ca/environment/design.html.
