Suspect sought in Comfort Inn robbery

Halifax police are trying to track down a white male they allege robbed the Comfort Inn at 560 Bedford Highway Friday night.
Police say a man entered the lobby of the hotel just after 8 o’clock Friday night, walked to the counter and demanded cash from the female employee.
Police say the man then sprayed the clerk with some type of sensory irritant before grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing.
The 25-year-old clerk was treated at the scene by EHS but didn’t need hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0 in height, with a thin build, blond hair, wearing a bandana across his face, black jacket and white sneakers.
