Charges laid in Fairview stabbing

Charges of attempted murder, uttering threats, robbery and possession of a weapon have
been laid after a 55-year-old man received multiple stab wounds just after 9:00 Wednesday night.
Police say at last word, the victim remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police spokesman Brian Palmeter says the suspect and victim knew each other,and got
into some sort of altercation.There were also a number of other people in and around
the apartment.
The suspect was arrested shortly before midnight at a Mandaville Court residence.
Police say the stabbing was not a random act.
