Four teens have been arrested after the armed robbery of a convenience store in Dartmouth.

Two young men walked into the Needs store on Prince Albert Road around 3:15 a.m. and ordered the lone clerk into a back room at gunpoint.

Cigarettes and cash were stolen.

RCMP stopped a vehicle in Eastern Passage Sunday morning and arrested two 18-year-olds and two 16-year-olds. They’re now facing charges related to the convenience store robbery.

As police investigated, the two young offenders were identified as being involved in a separate armed robbery at the New Penny coin shop in Dartmouth last week.

All four go to court today.
