Gas prices expected to fall in N.S.

For the first time in weeks, the price of gas could fall when regulated prices are reset tonight.

News 95.7 is predicitng a drop of about two cents a litre, moving the price of regular self-serve to about $1.25 in metro.

Wholesale gas and crude oil prices have fallen this week as demand for oil has fallen in earthquake-ravaged Japan.

In New Brunswick, regulated gas and diesel prices barely budged overnight – but in Toronto, prices are down about four cents this week to $1.16 a litre.
