Latest shooting not random: police

Police are investigating Halifax’s latest incident of gun violence.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of Romans Avenue around just after midnight last night.
Sgt. Greg Robertson with Halifax Regional Police tells News 95.7 several shots were fired at a home there but no one inside was hurt.
“Residents reported two to three shots being fired. It’s undetermined yet the actual amount. Ident officers will be back on the scene this morning attempting to retrieve evidence from one of the residences,” he said. “Nobody was struck by any of the bullets; all adults were in the residence. There were no injuries to anybody.”
A vehicle fled the scene after the shooting but police don’t have a description.
They say the attack wasn’t random.
It’s the second shooting in the area in less than a week. A 16-year-old was shot in the shoulder early Saturday in the Romans Avenue-Bayers Road area.
