Police looking for public’s help identifying sexual predator

Regional Police are asking for your help identifying a man connected to a number of sexual assaults in Halifax.

The most recent incident happened Thursday afternoon around 2:30 on Coburg Road near Larch Street. A young woman was getting off of a bus there when she was grabbed around the waist.

“She turned around, she recognized that the man who grabbed her on this occasion was the same man who had approached her on three previous occasions and touched her. In one of those occasions, he actually exposed himself to her,” says Halifax Regional Police Spokesman Cst. Brian Palmeter. “So we’re investigating this from the purpose of touching for sexual purposes.
