Murder victim remembered in online tributes

Friends of HRM’s latest murder victim are posting condolences and tributes online.

Police haven’t identified the 20-year-old man found dead on Shadewell Lane in Lake Echo Sunday but media reports say he is Stacey Adams of Dartmouth.

CBC reports one of his Facebook friends is Aaron Marriott, who was convicted of attempted murder for a shooting outside the IWK in 2008.

Marriott’s target was an associate of local crime figure Jimmy Melvin Jr.

Police won’t say whether Adams had ties to the Melvins or Marriotts, but say it’s part of the investigation.
