Missing woman wouldn’t just leave: ex-husband

The ex-husband of a missing Liverpool woman says she would never take off and leave her family.

Laura Robertson has been missing since April 14 when she didn’t show up for work. Police say her keys and purse are still in her apartment and her bank account hasn’t been touched.

There have been suggestions Robertson simply left on her own, but ex-husband Andrew Jones tells the Herald her children and grandchildren mean too much for her to just abandon them.

Friends and family carried out a ground search in Liverpool on Friday, but found nothing.

RCMP say they are still interviewing people and following any leads they receive.
