Child porn bust in Cole Harbour

A 51-year-old Cole Harbour man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. Police received a tip early Friday morning that several images of child porn were posted to a popular social networking site.

Officers obtained a warrant and searched a residence on Atholea Drive in Cole Harbour. Inside the home they found pornographic images of young children and seized a computer.

The suspect will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
