There’s been another child porn bust in Halifax.
Members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a home on Covington Way in Clayton Park on Friday. Police seized equipment that contained child pornography images and Michael Dow Brown, 36, was arrested and charged.
“This investigation had lasted approximately three months,” says Halifax Regional Police Cst. Brian Palmeter. “The evidence that we seized and the equipment we seized had images that would be defined under the criminal code as child pornographic images. So for that reason, the individual has been charged with possessing, distributing and producing child pornography.”
Brown is scheduled to appear in court on July 4.
