Bouncing gas prices expected to fall

Gas prices may take a little dip this week.

News 95.7 is predicting a small drop in regulated prices tonight of about a penny and a half a litre.

That will move the price of regular self-serve to just over $1.26 a litre in metro.

In New Brunswick, regulated gas prices fell overnight by two cents a litre, while diesel climbed by a penny and a half.

Gas in Saint John is selling for $1.23.8 today.

Oil prices surged Wednesday after the OPEC cartel decided not to boost production levels. Oil closed at $100.74 U.S. a barrel.
