VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Canucks fans will be able to watch tonight’s game on a big screen the intersection of Georgia and Hamilton and on Homer, near Georgia.
Georgia Street between Cambie and Richards Streets will close starting noon today.
“We expect lots of people downtown during the games and after the games as well,” explains Mayor Gregor Robertson. “We are closing Granville Street for a number of blocks. That number will increase, depending on how many people come downtown.”
There are other locations across the Lower Mainland
Abbotsford’s Entertainment and Sports Centre and Surrey’s Central City Plaza will open up for Games 6 and 7 — if the series runs that long.

-Langley Events Centre on 7888 200 Street
-Aberdeen Mall
-Central City Plaza at 102nd Avenue near 135th Street (Games 6 and 7 — if needed — only)
-Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre on 33800 King Road (Games 6 and 7 — if needed — only)
