Shot fired through apartment ceiling in Dartmouth

Police investigated gunfire Wednesday afternoon at the Primrose Plaza apartment building in Dartmouth.

At least one shot was fired up through the ceiling of an apartment just after 1 pm. The bullet came through the floor of the upstairs unit.

Halifax Police Constable Brian Palmeter says forensics officers are investigating at the scene.

“Two people, a woman and a female youth, have also been arrested at the scene and are currently in police custody,” said Palmeter.

No one was wounded.
