Two charged in Primrose St apartment shooting

Two people are being charged after gunfire Wednesday afternoon at the Primrose Plaza apartment building in Dartmouth.
At least one shot was fired up through the ceiling of an apartment just after 1 pm. The bullet came through the floor of the upstairs unit.
“A search of a second apartment resulted in two long barrelled firearms being seized,” said Halifax Police Constable Brian Palmeter.
“A 42-year-old woman and a 17-year-female youth, both of Dartmouth, are expected to appear in court tomorrow to face a number of weapons related charges,” said police. “Investigators continue to seek a 21-year-old Dartmouth man in relation to this investigation.”
