The sister of a former Halifax resident who is missing in Utah is on her way home after observing the search for her brother over the past week.
David Brown — a professional skydiver — has been missing from the house where he was living in Moab, Utah since June 29th.
His younger sister, Wendi Tekamp, says that a paraglider search Saturday looked closely at the desert foothills but found so sign of the man.
She says the family deeply appreciates the efforts of the paragliders and other search teams.
Brown, who arrived in Moab two months ago to teach skydiving, was last seen walking along a road on the outskirts of the town June 29th.
His driver’s license, wallet and other belongings, including some cash and identification, were found at his home.
