Pipe bomb found in Mission

MISSION (NEWS1130) – Mission RCMP confirm they have found a pipe bomb in a home on Hollister Place, just south of Dewdney Trunk road off Kimball Street.
Sergeant Miriam Dixon says the device was found on a counter in a bathroom while police were there on an unrelated matter. “And they have removed the item from the residence and have brought it to a safe location where they have to do a detonation to determine exactly what it is. But they have confirmed it is a pipe bomb.”
The home is known to police, but so far no suspects have been named.
