Fire at commercial compound outside Halifax

There’s no estimate on the damage after a fire struck a commercial compound outside Halifax on Saturday.
The fire started in a building in an industrial park in Musquodoboit Harbour around 2:50pm.
The site has small commercial buildings, a self-storage business, shipping containers and trailers.
Firefighters were warned about oxygen and acetylene tanks in one of the buildings and a tank for diesel fuel.
Volunteer crews from Ostrea Lake and Oyster Pond were involved in battling the blaze, as were career firefighters from elsewhere – no one was hurt.
A spokesman with Halifax regional fire service says the fire was spotted by people driving by and the response time was quick.
