Girl missing, found, in Clayton Park

Police scrambled late Tuesday afternoon to find a missing child in Clayton Park.

“With respect to the missing 9 year old girl in Clayton Park, Amber, she has been located safe and sound,” said a brief note from police. “Thank you to all who called with information.”

Officers said the girl was playing with a cat in her yard on Sheradon Place around 3:45pm Tuesday when she wandered away.

A friend of the family tells News95.7 a radio listener spotted the missing girl and alerted police.
