Graffiti taggers interrupted on Quinpool

An early-morning string of vandalism on Quinpool Road ended with two arrests and a bunch of charges.
A tip about taggers on Quinpool sent patrols to the street at 1:37am. Two men aged 18 and 19 were nabbed with several cans of spray paint.
Constable Brian Palmeter says the duo had already marred a bunch of buildings.
“Our investigation so far has located 21 separate locations that’ve been damaged,” said Palmeter.
Investigators have seen this vandalism before but won’t tell us the tags the two were using. The suspects are charged with 15 counts apiece of property damage. The younger one’s also accused of lying to police about his identification.
“So we consider this very significant,” said Palmeter.
