Gas stations low on fuel on long weekend

The Imperial Oil Refinery in Dartmouth has been out of operation since July 21st due to a thunderstorm and that may cause some problems for local gas stations on one of the busiest driving weekends of the year.
The shutdown has left many gas stations with a low supply, or no supply, of gas for their customers on this Natal Day weekend. Several gas stations along Highway 102 found themselves without any fuel reserves late Friday night and reports out of the Herald indicate the Esso and Petro-Canada stations in Elmsdale have run out of gas and many others along the 102 remain low.
Vice President of Wilson Fuel David Collins tells the Herald that if you plan on driving to Moncton for the U2 concert to make sure you fill up your vehicle in Moncton.
Collins says he has heard that a ship full of gasoline is expected to arrive in Halifax this weekend.
