A Halifax woman accused of helping an alleged killer escape is free on bail.
23 year-old Brittany Leigh Derbyshire is charged with being an accessory after the fact in the killing of 20 year-old Stacey Jordan Adams.
Adams was shot and killed in a car parked outside a newly built home on Shadewell Lane in Lake Echo, April 10.
The Crown alleges Derbyshire helped the alleged shooter, Steven Douglas Skinner, escape after the shooting and helped with concealing and destroying evidence.
38-year-old Skinner, who is charged with second-degree murder, is still wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Police have attributed the killing to drugs.
