After a year of negotiations between private developer Rank Inc and all three levels of government the convention centre has finally come to a head. Nova Scotia MP Peter MacKay announced this morning a $51 million contribution to the downtown development. And we’ve got the reaction: from opponent Beverly Miller to proponent councillor Tim Outhit. We also chat with Premier Dexter on whether the extra money from the feds is because the cost has gone up. Also Deputy Police Chief Chris McNeil is in studio to talk about a process that cleared his name from perjury allegations.
