N.S. gas prices fall more than three cents

Gas prices have retreated a little more than expected today.

Regulated prices were expected to fall two to three cents a litre overnight – and fell 3.3 cents a litre.

Regular self-serve is now selling for $1.233 in metro.

Diesel prices didn’t change, holding steady at $1.241 in metro.

At this time last year, we were paying $1.019 for gas in metro and $1.017 for diesel.

Oil was selling for $76 U.S. a barrel, compared to the current $80.51.
