Two teens facing charges after armed robbery

Halifax Regional Police have two teens in custoday after an armed robbery on Oxford Street.
Staff Sgt. Reid McCoombs tells News 95.7 it happened around 8:40 Thursday night.
“The two males entered a convenience store in the 2800 block of Oxford Street, the Ardmore Grocery,” he said. “One was armed with what was believed to be a handgun and the other was armed with a knife.
McCoombs says police decended on the scene very quickly and caught up with the suspects a short distance away.
He says the gun turned out to be a pellet gun.
Both teens are set to appear in court facing robbery and weapons charges later today.
