Man killed near Trinity Bellwoods Park

TORONTO, Ont. –  Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting near Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Police tell 680News the shooting happened around 3 a.m. Sunday morning in the area of College and Crawford Streets.

Reports indicate the man suffered two gunshot wounds to chest and was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital.

There is no initial word on any suspects, but police say there were quite a few people in the area because of Nuit Blanche, and they are calling for witnesses to come forward.
