Evidence to be held in Oland case

SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Patrick Wilbur, a Crown Prosecutor in the Richard Oland homicide investigation, has been given approval from the court to hold evidence seized from Dennis Oland’s property for another three months.
Saint John police have been investigating the homicide of Richard Oland for the past three months after he was found dead in his office. No charges have been laid and no information about how Oland died or if any weapons were used in his death have ever been released.
Defence Lawyer Gary Miller, who is representing Dennis Oland in the investigation, was in the courthouse yesterday, when Wilbur asked to hold onto the evidence
The list of items that were seized from Oland’s property have been sealed by the court.
