Occupy Vancouver preparations ramping up

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Those Wall Street style protests that are sweeping North America are on their way to the Lower Mainland.

It all gets started Saturday morning at the Vancouver Art Gallery, where organizers hope it will continue indefinitely. Today, BC Federation of Labour boss Jim Sinclair is set to announce his group’s involvement in the demonstration.

This past weekend, hundreds gathered for the first general assembly of the event, suggestion a large and vocal turnout.

Another planning meeting is set for 6 o’clock tonight.
