Murder investigation continues one year on

It’s the one year anniversary of Donald Smith’s murder, and police continue to look for tips that could lead them to the person that killed him.

On October 23, 2010 the 27-year-old Smith was shot and killed while making a pizza delivery to a building on Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth just before 9:30pm.

Since that time, investigators have determined that the call to the pizza shop was placed from a payphone on Highfield Park Drive, between Joseph Young Street and Burnside Drive about 40 minutes before the murder, but the person who placed the order has not been identified and investigators are interested in speaking with them.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police.
