N.S. gas prices fall more than three cents

Nova Scotians are waking up to a real Hallowe’en treat at the pumps.
Regulated prices fell by nearly four cents a litre overnight, a little more than predicted.
Regular self-serve is now selling for $1.249 a litre in metro.
Diesel prices didn’t change from last week’s price of $1.297 a litre.
At this time last year, we were paying $1.06 for gas and $1.05 for diesel.
Oil was selling for $81.43 U.S. a barrel, much lower than Thursday’s close of $93.96 U.S. a barrel.
