No change in N.S. gas prices

Gas prices haven’t gone down as we expected – but they haven’t gone up, either.

The UARB has decided to keep regulated gas prices steady for this week, holding the price of regular self-serve at $1.249 in metro.

Diesel prices went up by 1.2 cents a litre to $1.309 in metro.

At this time last year, we were paying just over $1.07 for gas and diesel. Oil was selling for $86.85 U.S. a barrel. On Thursday, it closed at $94.07.
