Wind warning issued for northeastern N.S.

Hurricane season may be over, but some tropical-force winds are in store for parts of the province.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning that covers northeastern nova scotia, calling for strong winds on Thursday that will gust as high as 90 km per hour.
A low pressure system is developing over the southeastern U.S. and it’s expected to intensify today as it tracks northeastward over the Maritimes.
Top winds could actually hit 110 km per hour in parts of Cape Breton.
The warning also says up to 40 mm of rain is coming with the wind.
