MacKay tip-toes around Halifax stadium questions

Defence minister Peter MacKay is giving no hints whether Halifax will receive federal funding for a new stadium.
When faced with the question about the funding during a news conference Friday, his answer was noncommittal.
“Until we have a proposal in front of us, we’ll wait for the city and province to come forward with something we can examine,” he explained.
MacKay went on to say there need to be partnerships.
“My own experience in attempting to form partnerships around the Commonwealth Games reminds me that we’ll not jump too soon,” he said.
MacKay made the comments at Halifax International Airport, where he was announcing the roll out of a re-vamped CP-140 Aurora airplane for the air force.
