Fire destroys well-known Valley inn

Another well-known landmark in Nova Scotia has been destroyed by fire.
Firefighters from 11 departments raced to the Pine View Inn in Coldbrook around 9:30 Wednesday night to battle flames in the main building.
Pictures posted to the @News957 Twitter feed show smoke billowing from the front door. Facebook posters report some parts of the upper floor collapsed, and a News 95.7 listener reports firefighters had to tear parts of the building down to battle the blaze.
The Chronicle Herald reports two firefighters were injured.
According to haligonia.ca, the inn has just undergone major renovations. It was known as the Wandlyn Inn until 2010 and was a familiar sight to anyone travelling through the Annapolis Valley on the 101.
Exactly two months ago today, fire destroyed the main building at the beloved White Point Beach Resort.
