Robocalls rally planned for Halifax

A rally will be held today in Halifax Sunday at 1pm to demand a public inquiry into the robocalls affair.

The protest will be held at Grand Parade in the city’s downtown and Halifax M-P Megan Leslie is expected to speak.

The event is part of a national campaign demanding a public inquiry.

Investigators with Elections Canada have been looking into complaints of misleading automated calls made during the 2011 federal election.
