Police are investigating a shooting at a home in Cowie Hill where a young child was sleeping.

Someone fired a single shot at a home on Bromley Road just after midnight. There were two adults and an eight-year-old child in the house at the time.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

A release says responding officers found evidence at the scene and they’re still investigating.

So far, police say this appears to be a random act and they’re asking anyone with information to get in touch.
