Fourth weather record tumbles in Halifax

HRM has basked in four straight days of record-setting weather, and more is on the way.

Environment Canada reports the temperature on Tuesday reached 20.8 C, just 0.6 C above the former record, set in 2010.

It seems like a safe bet to say more records will fall before the week is over.

Today’s guaranteed high is set at 23 C, well above the previous record of 10.5 C. On Thursday, the temperature is expected to hit 26 C, eclipsing the previous record of a puny 11.8 C.
