N.S. gas prices expected to fall

We’re expecting a little relief at the gas pumps this week.

For the first time in a few weeks, News 95.7 is predicting regulated gas prices will fall tonight by one to two cents a litre.

Regular self-serve is currently selling for $1.454 in metro, the highest price on record since regulation was implemented.

In New Brunswick, prices fell by 1.3 cents a litre overnight to a new maximum of $1.409. Diesel prices also tumbled, by exactly two cents a litre, to $1.387.

In Toronto, unregulated prices were expected to fall by two cents a litre overnight, moving the average price in the GTA to $1.346.
