Gas, diesel prices take a tumble

Gas prices have fallen as predicted this week, but we’re still paying more than $1.40 a litre.
Regulated prices dropped by three cents a litre overnight. Regular self-serve is now selling for $1.424 a litre in metro.
Diesel prices also fell, by 2.2 cents to $1.324 in metro.
At this time last year, we were paying a $1.33 for gas and $1.30 for diesel. Oil was selling for $109.66 U.S. a barrel, well above Thursday’s close of $103.64 U.S.
