N.S. gas prices set for big drop

Nova Scotia’s regulated gas prices are poised for a significant drop tonight.

News 95.7 is predicting a decrease of at least five cents a litre tonight, moving the price of regular self-serve to around $1.35 in metro.

In New Brunswick, regulated prices fell by 6.2 cents a litre overnight, to a new maximum of $1.345 in metro.

Diesel prices also fell, by almost two cents a litre to $1.369.

In Toronto, unregulated gas prices were expected to fall by a penny and a half overnight, moving the average price in the GTA to $1.31.
