Charges have been laid in weekend gunplay in Dartmouth.

Officers on patrol Sunday morning heard gunfire in the middle of the night near Roleika Drive and Caledonia Road.

Minutes later, they arrested two men and tracked a handgun nearby. The back of a home on Roleika had been shot up, but nobody was wounded.

Dale Lloyd Fowler, 27, and Marco Morrell Simmonds, 24, are charged with five gun-related offences.
