Stabbed senior dies in hospital

A senior stabbed at her home late last month has died in hospital and police say it’s a homicide.

Norma Jean Salah, 77, died Saturday after she was stabbed on Flamingo Drive on April 28.

John Jason Salah, 41, was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder. Police are consulting with the Crown to have the charge upgraded to second degree murder.
