Fancy banjo stolen in ’07 now recovered

A senior has been charged in the theft of a fancy banjo more than four years ago.

Back in November 2007, someone stole a banjo from a home on a small street in Head of Chezzetcook.

It was a Stelling Red Fox Banjo valued at about six thousand dollars.

That was all police knew for years, until this month, when officers carried out a search warrant at another home on the same small street. They seized a computer, a smartphone, and that six-thousand dollar banjo.

A 77-year-old man is charged with break and enter, theft, and possession of stolen property for the purpose of trafficking.
