A needle was the weapon of choice during a hold up at the One Stop Shop convenience store on Windmill Road Saturday afternoon.
Halifax police responded around 12:45 p.m. and learned a woman walked in, threatened the clerk with a hypodermic needle, and demanded cash.
She punched the clerk in the face before taking off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police arrested a 34-year-old woman on Gottingen Street shortly afterwards. She’s scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Court Monday.
