Worker falls from building while working near MacKay Bridge

A worker is recovering from serious head injuries after falling from a building at the south end of the MacKay Bridge.

It happened at around 8:45 p.m. Thursday evening, while workers were dismantling some of the building.

The worker fell off the structure, and plummeted 20 feet to the pavement.

The provincial Labour Department has been called in to investigate.
